De Jodhpur à Amritsar | From Jodhpur to Amritsar

Ce matin, nous avons visité le Jaswant Thada, le site de crémation situé près du fort, où reposent traditionnellement les membres de la famille royale de Marwar. Ce magnifique cénotaphe en marbre blanc est souvent surnommé le "Taj Mahal du Marwar".
Ensuite, nous avons pris la direction de l’aéroport pour quitter l’état du Rajasthan et arriver en toute sécurité à Amritsar, la capitale du Punjab.
Notre vol a atterri à 19h20, ce qui nous a laissé le temps de savourer un dîner rapide mais délicieux avant d’aller admirer le Temple d’Or (de l’extérieur), magnifiquement illuminé de nuit. Heureusement, notre guesthouse n’est qu’à 50 mètres du temple, parfait pour l’explorer davantage demain !

This morning, we visited Jaswant Thada, the cremation site near the fort where members of the Marwar royal family were traditionally laid to rest. This beautiful white marble cenotaph is often referred to as the "Taj Mahal of Marwar."
After that, we headed to the airport and left the state of Rajasthan, arriving safely in Amritsar, the capital of Punjab.
​We landed at 7:20 PM and managed to grab a quick but amazing dinner before heading to see the Golden Temple (from the outside), beautifully lit up at night. Luckily, our guesthouse is just 50 meters from the temple, making it easy to explore more tomorrow!
