Last Day in Udaipur | Dernier jour à Udaipu

Today was our second and last day in Udaipur. We visited the stunning City Palace, a grand royal complex overlooking Lake Pichola. In the afternoon, we took a sunset boat ride to see Jag Mandir, a beautiful island palace, and the famous Lake Palace, a floating luxury hotel.
One of our drivers told us that it takes three things to drive in India: a working horn, good brakes, and good luck. Now, just imagine what it’s like being a pedestrian—dodging motorbikes, tuk-tuks, cows, and today, even an elephant!

Aujourd’hui était notre deuxième et dernier jour à Udaipur. Nous avons visité le magnifique City Palace, un impressionnant complexe royal qui surplombe le lac Pichola. En fin d’après-midi, nous avons pris un bateau au coucher du soleil pour visiter Jag Mandir, un superbe palais sur une île, ainsi que Lake Palace, un hôtel flottant emblématique.
​Un de nos chauffeurs nous a dit qu’il faut trois choses pour conduire en Inde : un klaxon qui fonctionne, de bons freins et beaucoup de chance. Imaginez maintenant ce que c’est d’être piéton… entre les motos, les tuk-tuks, les vaches et, aujourd’hui, même un éléphant !
